YOU HAVE TO GO TO COURT. TERMINATING PARENTAL RIGHTS HAS TO BE OK WITH BOTH PARENTS. IF THE FATHER WANTS TO TERMINATE HIS RIGHTS SO THAT CHILD SUPPORT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE PAID THE MOTHER HAS TO OK IT. YOU CAN’T JUST TERMINATE PARENTAL RIGHTS. IF THE MOTHER WANTS TO TERMINATE THE FATHERS RIGHTS BECAUSE THE NEW BOYFRIEND WANTS TO MARRY HER AND ADOPT THE KID THE FATHER HAS TO BE OK WITH IT. ONCE EITHER PARENTS RIGHTS ARE TERMINATED THEY ARE NO LONGER RESPONSIBLE IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. YOU START IN FAMILY COURT. YOU HAVE TO FILE A PETITION. ONCE YOU GO TO THE COURT HOUSE THEY WILL INSTRUCT YOU ON HOW TO GO ABOUT IT.
