I have Kaiser Permanente and I’m in NE Ohio. There are several hospitals and treatement facilities in our system that you can go to here–it really depends where you live which ones you use.
You can go to any of the Kaiser treatment centers–in most areas there is more than one. You’ll get your primary care physician at one of those treatment centers, and he or she will refer you to all the special doctors or treatment you need. Some of it will be at the Kaiser facilities, and some will be at other places, probably. Here at our main one (near my residence) we have Radiology, Physical Therapy, a pharmacy, a lab, podiatry, some orthopedics (not all), pediatrics and OB/GYN, as well as several adult medicine doctors. Almost all my treatments can be done in one building. Occasionally I have to go somewhere else for a special thing–like when I had my bone scan I had to go to a facility about 20 miles away.
I have gotten excellent care through Kaiser. They have a good website you should definitely register on–all your lab tests results and even an email link to your doctor can be done on line. They have several free programs to use on line also–nutrition, weight loss, etc. Good information! It’s kp.org–they even have a drug information index so you can see what reactions you can expect from your prescriptions.
Make sure you read all your info–so you know exactly what your benefits are. And if you don’t like your primary care doc, ask to change him or her–they don’t mind; they have enough you should find one you really like.
