no one just gets addicted. no one forces u to drink or do drugs. its a choice, not exactly a disease

I believe that it’s been proved that alcoholism is hereditary, so that makes it a disease, I guess.
As for drug addiction, I can’t believe that it’s a disease. I’ve been addicted before, and it’s a matter of willpower to overcome it. I had a lot of help and great support from family and friends, which helped me to quit.

Nope. My ex still blames me for his sudden increase of alcohol consumption. He decided on his own to drink more. No one talked him into it or forced him to.
