What Is a Good Replacement for Alcohol?

Question by yep: What is a good replacement for alcohol?
I am a severe alcoholic and need to quit. I also need to stress that I was just kicked out of Drug and Alcohol Rehab because I lost my insurance coverage.

What is something I can take to get myself off this permanently? I have Xanax but don’t care for it. I have been put on Zoloft for depression but it doesn’t seem to help my mood. Thoughts?

Regular exercise is supposed to improve your mood. I would try to find something that is not a drug, if I were you. Otherwise it seems like you’re stuck in a bad cycle…
